Hard Water Stain Removal for Windows in Boise & the Treasure Valley

Chirping clean, every time.

Sprinklers spray lower windows, and the water dries into spots that regular washing won't lift. Hard water stain removal is an add-on to window cleaning, at extra cost.

Why Sprinklers Leave Spots on Your Windows

Lawns across the Treasure Valley get watered all summer. When sprinkler spray hits your glass and dries, the water leaves but the minerals in it stay behind. That's the white, cloudy spotting you see on lower windows near lawns and flower beds. Each watering can add another layer.

Regular window washing takes off dirt and dust. It often won't lift mineral spots. That's why hard water stain removal is its own add-on.

How the Add-On Works

Hard water stain removal is added to a residential window cleaning, at extra cost. When you ask for your free estimate, tell us which windows have spots and about how long they've been there. Check the hard water box on the form below, or mention it when you call (208) 318-3853.

The rest of the visit is a normal window cleaning, inside and out, and it comes with our seven-day rain guarantee. You can add screen and track cleaning too.

Keep New Spots Away

Once your glass is clean, aim sprinkler heads away from the windows. Check them again after any repair or when you change your watering schedule. Less water on the glass means fewer new spots. A recurring window cleaning also keeps buildup from getting a head start.

Sprinkler spots are common in Canyon County, too: see window cleaning in Nampa and Caldwell.

FAQs

Can you remove hard water stains?

Yes. Hard water stain removal is available as an add-on at extra cost. Ask in your free estimate.

Is hard water stain removal included in a regular window cleaning?

No. It's an add-on at extra cost. Ask for it in your free estimate.

Why won't regular washing remove sprinkler spots?

Sprinkler spots are minerals left behind when water dries on the glass. Regular washing removes dirt and dust, but it often won't lift mineral spots.

Are hard water stains on windows permanent?

Not always, but the longer spots sit, the harder they are to remove. Tell us about your windows in your free estimate and we'll talk it through.

Can I remove hard water spots myself?

You can try on light, fresh spots. Go gently and skip anything abrasive, which can scratch glass. If the spots stay, ask us about the hard water stain removal add-on.

How do I stop sprinklers from spotting my windows?

Aim sprinkler heads away from the glass and check them after any repair or schedule change. Less water on the windows means fewer new spots.
